      Mr. Montemarano, 88, died April 19, 2012, at South Nassau Hospital in Oceanside, N.Y. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived there before moving to Toms River in 1995 and then to Island Park, N.Y., in 2008. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
